Convicted child sex offender Michael Kincade was sentenced to three consecutive life terms by District Judge Steve Dobrescu in the Lincoln County Courthouse June 5.
He was found guilty last November on 11 counts of sexual assault on a child under the age of 14, including use of the internet of using the internet for visual presentation depicting sexual conduct with juveniles under age 16.
District Attorney Daniel Hooge said the judge, upon imposing sentence, “basically told Kincade, ‘You should never be a free man.’”
Hooge said Dobrescu set a minimum of 35 years on each life term consecutively before Kincade, age 55, might be eligible for parole, a total of 105 years.
Hooge thought Kincade is expected to first be sent to the prison at Indian Springs for a short time, then likely sent to the Lovelock Correctional Center.
