11Friday night in Panaca, Deishuan Booker poured in 19 points as the Stars rolled past the Lynx. 64-40.

Akeemis Williams had 11 points, and Dennis Walker scored 10 for Agassi Prep, which led 22-17 at halftime.

The Stars (13-0, 7-0), the Division III defending state champions, really got it rolling in the second half, outscoring the Lynx 42-33.

McClain O’Connor had 19 points for Lincoln County.

Another home game on Saturday saw Andrew Memmott score 15 points to power the Virgin Valley Bulldogs past the Lynx 45-36 in their last a non-league game of the season. Former LCHS player Sean FitzSimons coaches Virgin Valley (7-10).

Marcus Saunders added 10 points for Virgin Valley, which led 19-5 after one quarter.

McClain O’Connor led Lincoln County (6-11) with 21 points. Derek Shumway scored 11 for the Lynx.

Lincoln (7-11, 6-3) has three league games this week. They started Tuesday with a 68-42 win at White Pine (1-9, 1-8).

McClain O’Connor had his best game of the season with 29 points and Mike Wood tallied 14.

The Lynx play their last home games of the season this Friday and Saturday with Lake Mead (4-16, 2-7) and Mountain View (11-9, 5-3).

Lincoln’s final five league games are all on the road, and if they qualify, the Division III Southern league playoffs will be Feb. 20-21 at Spring Valley High in Las Vegas.
