1Schools in Pioche, Caliente, and Alamo will have their annual Easter Egg hunts on Saturday April 4. Local students participate in the hunt to win prizes every year.

In Pioche and Caliente, the hunts are sponsored by the local fire departments. Pioche fire chief John Stever said the fire trucks will go around town picking kids up beginning at 9 a.m. and the hunt will begin at the Elementary School at 10 a.m. for all ages. There are different age groups, with the older groups given more of a challenge to find the eggs. Each egg has a number and the number corresponds to a given prize. In Caliente, the hunt will be a Dixon Park April 4 at Noon for all age groups.

Panaca held their Easter Egg hunt for the kids on Thursday this week.

Pahranagat Valley Elementary will have their annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Parent Teacher Association, on Saturday April 4 at 10 a.m. for all students preschool through 5th grade.
