The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department says it has no new information in the investigation of the killing of 64-year-old Carol Hullinger in Caliente.

Her body was found May 25 by a deputy who went to her residence at 200 Miller Lane for another matter.

Sheriff Kerry Lee said at the time, due to the nature of the injuries, the scene was treated as a suspicious death. After an autopsy was performed by the Clark County Coroner’s office, the death was ruled a homicide.

Lee said numerous pieces of evidence, including DNA, were collected from the crime scene by members of the Las Vegas Metro Police Crime Unit who were called in to assist.

However, as of this week, the department had no new information they felt ready to release.
