Award winning western music performer Juni Fisher is set for another Labor Day show at Thompson’s Opera House on Sept. 5.

Last year’s Juni Fisher concert during Labor Day left the audience asking for another one next year.

They will get their wish on Saturday, Sept. 5, 7 p.m. at Thompson’s Opera House. The Eastern Star Chapter of the Masonic Lodge in Pioche is sponsoring a concert featuring the multi-award winning singer, songwriter, entertainer, producer, actress and equestrian. This year’s show serves a dual purpose, preserving the two oldest functioning buildings in Pioche. Proceeds from the show will go to the costly reconstruction of the Masonic Lodge, which, due to its age and water damage, has seen structure collapses in several areas.

There will also be a yard sale in the parking lot between the grocery store and the Masonic Lodge. It will be that day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If there are enough sale items left after Saturday’s sale, a Sunday yard sale will be offered during the same time window. Thanks to generous donations from members of the Masonic Lodge and various community members, the yard sale will offer a multitude of items, such as clothing, jewelry, electronics and household items of all varieties.

Tickets for the concert can be purchased in advance for $17.50 and are available now at the Opera House (Les Derkovitz), the “Y” service station/convenience store, Pioneer Pizza, Tillie’s and from Elizabeth Sidford (775-962-5312). Tickets can also be purchased on the night of the concert at the door for $20.
