Kristina Lloyd – Kyle Zierow hands off the baton to Austin Marshall in the 4 x 200m relay.

The Richard Lewis Invitational in Moapa, NV was a successful meet for the Lynx.

Brooklyn Hafen said, “This track meet had a decent amount of competition and our team, being a small school, kept up with the bigger schools. We ended up racking up lots of points. We are excited for the future track meets coming up.”

Noah Smith and Benson Wadsworth raced in the 100 meters. Smith placed 6th with a time of 11.40 seconds, and Wadsworth placed 20th at 12.07 seconds.

In the 200 meters, Smith placed 4th at 23.05 seconds, a new personal record. Wadsworth placed 20th again, just behind Smith’s time at 24.28. His season record. Thomas Gloeckner also ran the 200m and placed 37th, reaching a new PR at 29.23.

Smith ran the 400 meters and placed 4th at 53.18. Mcgarren Segler also ran this one and placed 41st. He reached a SR of 1:07.55.

Alex Rowe placed 35th in the 800m with a time of 2:39.20. Hayden Showell was just a few places behind Rowe in 37th at 2:58.73, his SR.

Guy Heaton achieved a PR in the 1600, placing 30th with a time of 6:01.54. Rowe comes in just behind him in 34th place. Showell achieves a SR a few places behind Rowe at 6:40.56.

In the 3200m, Chance Christensen achieved a SR at 12:35.51 placing 22nd. Heaton PR’d at 13:00.83 and placed 26th. Another SR from Segler was at 14:11.82. He placed 32nd.

Smith placed 3rd in the 110m hurdles with a time of 16.69 seconds.

Zierow placed 31st in Shot Put, throwing 32.08 feet. Jaydon Heaton also threw and placed 43rd, achieving a PR of 28.03 feet.

In the Discus event, Zierow placed 16th at 105.10 feet. Heaton placed 34th at 71.04 feet.

Pole Vault came around, and Ben Culverwell placed 14th, reaching a new PR at 10 ft. Auston Marshall also participated in this event, placing 22nd at 8 ft.

Benson Wadsworth achieved a SR in the Long Jump. Jumping 19.10 ft and placing 4th. Gloeckner PR’d at 15 ft and placed 34th.

Wadsworth also placed 4th in triple jump at 40.09.75, a SR.

For the girls, Brooklyn Hafen participated in the 200m, placing 12th at 28.46 seconds.

Hafen also did the 400m and placed 7th with a time of 1:05.63. Christina Puckow ran the 400m also and placed 25th with a time of 1:26.19.

Sara Decker PR’d in shot put at 17’06 ft, placing 35th.

Dani Lister placed 9th in Discus at 79’03 ft. Decker placed 29th and PR’d at 41.08 ft.

Hafen placed 1st in high jump at 4’10 ft.

Hafen participated in long jump this meet, the first time ever in all 4 years. She did an excellent job and ended up placing 2nd at 15’11 ft.
